One of my favorite jokes of all time was a comedian said if he was running past curfew, he would call home. When his mother would answser, he would say “You can hang up mom I got it.” That is genius. I can’t believe I never thought of that when I was a teenager in the 1985 tears for fears pop rock band cape fear trending shirt moreover I love this 90s. My mother was totally the type to fall for that. This took me a few moments to realize the joke is tricking mom to think he’s on another phone in the same house. My friend’s mom used to answer the phone when I called and my friend would answer. They’d both be on the line and her mom would say hi to me before hanging up and leaving me to talk with my friend. Mother’s Day to the woman who went through my purse and found a freezer bag filled to the brim with cocaine. I was 19 and it was flour & an hour beforehand I had told her I had taken some flour from my fathers house so that I can make a homemade face mask. I even dumped it all out into the garbage just to prove to her that it was actually FLOUR but she was convinced that I was an addict and somehow had enough money to buy a pound of cocaine when the day before she bought me Taco Bell because I didn’t have enough money to get me through to my next paycheck Reminds me of the time my mother decided to rifle through my stuff and found an old Dr Dreadful set I had bought to use as props for a student film. To be fair, it absolutely tracks that you wouldn’t have any money left for taco bell if you just bought a pound of cocaine

when the 1985 tears for fears pop rock band cape fear trending shirt moreover I love this day before she bought me Taco Bell because I didn’t have enough money to get me through to my next paycheck My boyfriends mom found his gfuel (energy drink powder) when he was a teenager. She of course thought it was coke and when he tried to explain to her it’s literally labeled she said he was just using the container to hide it. He poured it in water and even after watching it turn to a bright red drink she confiscated it and grounded him One time my mom found tinfoil in my room that I was using to make a makeshift bong and she ended up asking a now ex friend behind my back if I was on crack, ex friend told me and had no idea what I was making or doing but knew me well enough to not think I was free basing crack but apparently at that moment my mom did not. My mom made me dump my purse because my dad had seen “rolling papers” in there. They were the white wrappers that separate individual foiled guns a la Winterfresh. We laughed about it, thankfully.
