I feel like this statement is true for every long-running network sitcom/show that used to be good 6+ seasons ago. If Networks do one thing right, 10 Modern family 11 Seasons 254 Episodes Thank you for the memories shirt running their cash cows so far into the ground they come out the other side of the world. It’s definitely for the best as the show has been spinning its wheels for some seasons now. And unless you are only watching the arrowverse shows and no other tv shows it’s hard to keep up because of that. I mean it’s great but not when you binge in one day and have to wait an entire year for a new season.

Which is why I ditched them. I started catching up on excellent shows I hadn’t been watching, like Orphan Black and The 100. All of a sudden it’s like, “there’s so much great TV I wasn’t watching.” It was a chore to watch 5 hours of Arrowverse shows a week, 10 Modern family 11 Seasons 254 Episodes Thank you for the memories shirt got in the way of better TV. If those shows were 13 episode seasons, I’d probably still be watching some of them. I did watch the cross over this year and like it. I’ve only watched Flash here but what annoys me is that the midseason finale is usually just a confrontation with the current season’s baddie (who will not be defeated then) and the episode is just a set up so viewers tune it when the show starts up again.

I think it makes sense for sitcoms since they’re half an hour but it’s harder for hour-long shows. It drove me crazy that The Middle was so solid all the way through from beginning to end, and did well in the ratings, but got almost zero attention from ABC since 10 Modern family 11 Seasons 254 Episodes Thank you for the memories shirt started. Meanwhile, they heaped tons of attention on Modern Family, which just got more and more terrible, formulaic, and obnoxious as the years went on. At least at the end, The Middle got to break through the top 10 in the ratings a couple of times thanks to being aired after Roseanne.
