I was ok during it, re-evaluation of everything I am and did took place. It was a positive for me. I can see how it wouldn’t be for others. Genuinely sorry to hear about your friend. Nothing, it was prison for the Zay Flowers Baltimore Card football shirt Besides,I will do this crime of doing nothing that had almost no impact on what it was trying to achieve. Nothing, it was awful. People thinking it was brilliant are a bit tapped in the head and probably you’re stereotypical redditor. Yeah I too can’t stand those redditors that pretend everything is a binary choice and then the false dilemma this creates as a means to insult people that don’t 100% agree with me… Lol not at all. We’re not all socially inept. Your comment is rather ironic since you yourself seem to be parroting typical reddit trope. Further, you making ad hominem comments just reeks of projection here. Personally, I loved lockdown as it finally allowed my employer to realise that going hybrid/remote was actually a good thing for us employees. I also liked people staying tf away from me in public. Wow, the lack of empathy/understanding that other people had different experiences of it than you… For me, I was running a business and having to constantly pivot it. Was a key worker, so no peace, as I was rushing around delivering food. Still had no money, as the business was suffering for various reasons. No garden to sit in, and the open space near me was all rammed, but I wouldn’t have had much time to spend in it anyway. I couldn’t go for a walk except in the middle of the night, as the pavements/towpaths/parks were heaving at all other times. It was hell. I was working for the NHS in admin. My best/worst days were the phone calls to book people in for their first vaccine. A lot of the elderly who lived alone told me I was the first person they’d spoken to for days. The young woman who was in tears as her mother (who we were trying to get hold of) was trapped in Pakistan as she’d been visiting relatives when it all kicked off.

But there was also a lot of joy from people who were so happy to have a reason to think things were now getting better. Not everyone who had a horrendous time need stress to feel stimulated; some of them were isolated and depressed. It was horrendous seeing family members die because of lack of medical care on the Zay Flowers Baltimore Card football shirt Besides,I will do this NHS after basically being completely isolated for months at a time. Bellend. Worked all the way through (railway). Didn’t get furloughed. I didn’t sit on my arse buying useless shit and sunning myself in the garden. Miss absolutely nothing about it. Resent the fact that my effort and taxes were used to provide people with an opportunity to legally take the piss. The silence, the inexistent traffic, the time to go for long walks as part of daily exercise, not going to work I work in the NHS so was going to work every day regardless…but was so calm and quiet walking through the large city I live in. A bit spooky but definitely enjoyed the quiet. Coming home to see my neighbours all on furlough drinking heavily in the boiling hot sun…not as much. Jealous! Nearly lost it when one of those neighbours – after months on furlough sunbathing and drinking in the garden – said they couldn’t wait for a holiday…after I came home covered in sweat and tired from work.
