Sadly they aren’t allowed to mark packages as missing. I used to deliver for Amazon, and still have friends who work for them and that was recently. So they have to mark them as delivered. As a FedEx driver I hate when some house has a vicious dog running around with an invisible fence. That’s what gets us bitten. If some dog is raising hell when I get to a yard, I toss the You’re What The French Call Les Incompetents Xmas Alone Home T-Shirt But I will love this box onto the driveway and write into my scanner: Driver release — Location: “Dog”. We are not technically supposed to say that “dog” is the location of a package, but I’m a smartass and I’ve never been written up for it yet. A picture isn’t required because why would they need to?
