It’s a nice idea, but it never ever works out like that in practice. One of them always ends up thinking of more. Be friends with whoever you want. 185 more repliesI feel like it’s different if you have these friends before you met your SO but afterwards, it’s hard for a lot of people (myself included) to accept my SO to make guy friends and no have an ulterior motive with that. Now I know she is probably not wanting to fuck every guy that walks, but we’re all human and your bound to find a “friend or co-worker” you are physically attracted to that you become close with. The most important factors are to be transparent with your SO and reassurance/actually listen to them and allow them to go out with you with said friend(s) if needed or whatever the case is. It’s absolutely not a red flag. Some people are just extremely insecure which causes an unhealthy dose of jealousy.
