The complete and utter lack of community and institutional support. We are for the You Say Witch Like It’s A Bad Thing Broom Bat Halloween T-Shirt in addition I really love this most part on our own in this country and that is so scary. My sister has two kids and it takes her and her husband, my parents, and me to raise them. One of them has developmental issues and the additional strain is so hard. I watch my sister struggle every day and I know she loves those kids so much. But it just seems so needlessly hard. Everything about them. From getting pregnant and the risks of all that , to after giving birth and how I might develop depression and resent the kid then there’s having to raise them while the world is falling apart. Society is fucked and the kids around my kid might be fucked up in the head and fuck my kid up, then I gotta worry about the adults around them. Then theyre so expensive. Way too many cons basically. Not worth it at all imo. Ppl die giving birth too n shit. I’m so good. I’ll try to adopt later in life. Maybe.

The slow motion self destruction of society, the You Say Witch Like It’s A Bad Thing Broom Bat Halloween T-Shirt in addition I really love this near inescapable wage slavery. Who wants to bring a child into this world knowing that it’s gonna end up working 60 hour weeks to barely survive for it’s whole life? That’s some selfish bullshit. Having time to do what I need to do: work, school, sleep, etc without having to be interrupted or paying for a babysitter My parents never raised me, I was still with my dad until I was 6 but then he became a chronic alcoholic and never came home again until a couple of years ago when he came to ask my grandmother for about $10 and disappeared again forever. My mother died during my first year of college. Naturally I shut myself off completely, haven’t looked for friends since then and didn’t think I was part of society (I still do, pathological pessimism and signs of extreme misanthropy have made me rethink my values in life) so I made the decision in my life never to start a family. Exactly five years ago I made this promise to myself and I have not changed my mind so far. I never wanted kid. I don’t think I would be a good parent. But since I had my ADHD diagnostic, I’m definitly sure that I don’t want. This shit is genetic, I don’t want kids to live what I’m living
