Sony made a model of an electric car last year that they showed off at an auto show it looked pretty nice and had a lot of tech. I always thought that was more of a sales pitch to established auto companies. “Hey Honda and Toyota, here’s a bunch of EV tech you can license from us!” I really think Sony is going to do the You Matter Suicide Prevention Awareness America Flag Shirt Furthermore, I will do this tech for the car (infotainment and screens) a lot of auto makers a having a lot of trouble with that my friend just bought the new Golf MK8 and promptly dumped the car because of all of the IT issues it was having (screens going blank and random error codes). Every review I’ve seen of the MK8 GTI has been the same: handles great, so much fun to drive, but the infotainment is garbage and the all touch controls with no physical buttons are nightmarish.

I would welcome a Sony/Honda collaboration, but it is frustrating that they are going for another Tesla Rival. In the You Matter Suicide Prevention Awareness America Flag Shirt Furthermore, I will do this UK the basic Tesla sells for around £45,000 . and there is a faur selection of cars around £35,000 (Kia, Hyundai, VW ID3 etc) – but £35K is nearly 3 times what a paid for my last new car (and about 2.5x what that car would cost me now). If somebody could build a reasonable electric car, with maybe a 200mile range for around £20K I’d be really tempted to buy (And I do get the “once you factor in electricity costs, maintenance, tax etc it will work out cheaper in the long run” arguments – but so many things like electricity costs or taxation based onnumber of miles can change so quickly – and will once governments really begin to lose revenue from petrol vehicles)
