I hated Stilton until I tried a sample in a farm shop. It was so good I bought a big lump. Got home, tried it again and it was disgusting. After I threw it away, someone told me that it’s much nicer at room temperature. I’m scared to try it again, though. All cheese (and most deli products I’d say) are best served close to room temp. It’s a good idea to get the You Get What You Deserve Jake Gyllenhaal shirt but in fact I love this cheese board out before you serve your first course. Let the brie ooze haha. Relationships. Didn’t care at all about the opposite sex throughout my 20s, was always content in my own company. Now I’m 32 and can still sit for hours playing video games, but now there’s someone beside me who doesn’t like gaming but still gets genuinely excited when I start nerd gushing about them. Spider-Man 2 in a few days might bring her to breaking point though. After my mother buying me cheap shoes and clothes for all of my childhood- everything was the cheapest of the cheap – she hated spending money on anything- I think she hated having to spend money on me in general, I discovered the joy of good quality clothing and shoes and how decent clothes and shoes can make you feel like really good instead of the cheap crappy feeling of being poor.

I’m with you on that. My mum’s well off but stingy (probably why she’s well off…) and used to buy me the You Get What You Deserve Jake Gyllenhaal shirt but in fact I love this cheapest thinnest white shirts for school. Before she splashed out on some bras for me I had to wear my school jumper year round to avoid flashing anyone I never really understood why people hated Jamie Oliver, but after watching his new programme last night, I finally got it. I now hate him, twenty years after everyone else. I think a portion of the hate for people under 30 is nothing to do with his programs or recipes but the fact that he ruined school dinners. I know the Uncle Roger hur dur chili jam memes, but he’s not trying to make authentic Asian cuisine, he’s trying to make something with ingredients you’ll pick up at your local M&S.
