Yes. Its awful for the You can’t reaso with evil yellowstone shirt What’s more,I will buy this enironment,, and with temperature increases on the way do you really want superheated plastic around the place? I’m not a ban happy-person… But I do think people should be taxed (de facto fined) a tonne per square meter of fake grass they have. Interesting. In the western US people are talking about banning real grass because of water scarcity and low ecological/utilized value outside of “looks nice”. Yes. It’s plastic. Plastic is terrible for the environment. Whilst I can see a use for it in certain places, such as top-tier sports pitches with high traffic use, for everything else it should just be banned. It looks like shit for a start, is environmentally dead, there’s no ecosystem with it and it’s also terrible for the soil.

I’m not really a fan of the You can’t reaso with evil yellowstone shirt What’s more,I will buy this idea of having even more flaky plastic bullshit lounging around in the environment and then ending up in a landfill in 10 or so years. The only downside I see to a ban is that we will end up with loads of concreted-over areas. Businesses that have fake grass will replace them with the next cheapest alternative which is gravel or concrete. People’s gardens will go the same way. I’d honestly rather they did that than use fake grass. At least it won’t have the environmental effects that plastic grass does. TBH Until the report came out today I had never considered the environmental damage caused by plastic glass (other than disposing of them afterwards). Although concrete would presumably have the same environmental effects on creatures living in the worth (worms etc).
