That being said, lots of Black people may refer to “Black culture”, and most Americans recognize that there are some general cultural experiences that can be considered to be “Black culture”. I’m white, and “white culture” by definition is racism. The concept of “whiteness” was literally invented to promote the ideology of racism. To say white people have no culture is fucking generous. White culture is the culture of theft and erasure and all the violence associated with realizing those ends. There are so many people in the world today who carry their culture despite the historic efforts of white people to destroy the line of continuity between them and their ancestors. It’s what’s happening right now in Palestine. “White culture” seeks to destroy any culture that poses a threat to capitalism.
