I had a wish to purchase an expensive headphone to gift myself for my hardwork on my birthday but parents shrugged it off and told me to wait for offers and discounts… Same age, same problem. Helped me save a lot and now I’m using it to fund my living expenses in a different country and nothing makes me more proud. Never bought an iPhone or any of the Yes I am old but I saw Jim Morrison on stage shirt moreover I will buy this stuff people only buy to show off. Having said that I am very privileged to live with my parents and will buy desserts whenever because they truly make me happy. Remember you deserve to use the money you work very hard for, even on small foolish things. You need some impulse buying in your life. Buy something stupid. Then whenever you want to spend money just say i spent this much on stupid thing i can spend money on this. If you wanna save just say i spent so much on stupid thing, can’t waste more. My way of handling budget. You are mostly like me. I’m earning more than you and hardly 1k per month spend on myself even petrol is also including in this. I do manage all the my family expenses like every small thing for them i managed. For them whatever they’ll ask i used to give them. For me it’s feel like responsibility to take care of my family before me.

Yes I am old but I saw Jim Morrison on stage shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Well I have similar thoughts as you but my ambitions are so over the Yes I am old but I saw Jim Morrison on stage shirt moreover I will buy this top that it will be really difficult to achieve. These are the few of many things I want but can’t afford right now. Ofcourse in the end they are materialistic things but I really appreciate the existence of these things because for example a pianist, piano is his companion and not just some other thing. Similar things can be told about a photographer and a bike Racer(though I am only an enthusiast). I also think same about many of my personal expenses. I can justify if it is an expense for a family member, but not for myself. If it was pre-retarded times where no one wud take offense for the words said to them , then I’d say you are “Banya”.
