Nope, I get to have my sleep and we can do whatever we want when we want. My friends have kids, and their lives and identity revolves around them. Holidays, weekends, PTOs belong to the Xmas Santa Snoopy ooh ahh thats it Im not going christmas 2023 shirt moreover I love this kids. Also it’s significantly less drama and stress without them. Share36 and 38. We never wanted kids and once people around us started having kids, it cemented our decision. I love spending time with my nieces and nephews but there’s no part of me that wants my own. 34. No regrets so far! Me and my partner both went into our first date laying cards on the table about not wanting kids. We do have two dogs and, whilst they can be a challenge sometimes when it comes to lifestyle, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It also serves as a reminder how much more of a challenge having kids would be and reaffirming my desire to never want them. Do I look at other kids and think “how cool would it be to have a little mini me running around”? Yup! That would be frikkin’ cool, however I am not mentally in a position to ever have children and I am totally okay with that.

No I definatly don’t regret it – kids are a huge responsebility and I shouldn’t have that at thisbpoint in my life Most people I know aren’t even having kids until 30s, maybe 40s. Might be better to ask people in their 50s/60s. No. I have all the Xmas Santa Snoopy ooh ahh thats it Im not going christmas 2023 shirt moreover I love this freedom in the world to do what I want, when I want. I can be selfish and spend all my money on myself. I’m totally satisfied. Every time my SO and I are around friends with multiple children under 10 for a gathering, we both go „nah, we‘re good“. We‘re both late 30s and love the DINK life. 36F, 10 yrs together with my SO, we’re both childfree. Living in a house with our 2 dogs. Life is really good 🙂 And even if I would want children, I simply could’nt afford them. My monthly house payment is cheaper than average rent here. Sure I am thinking about us getting older. But what would it mean if I had kids? I couldn’t force them to take care of us. Lonely elders (who are parents) are a real thing in our society and it’s foolish to think having a child prevents you from old age loneliness. That’s entirely up to you. I knew when I was 5 years old that I wasn’t put on Earth to be a mother. When I was younger I’d always get the “you’ll change your mind someday!” kind of comments but always held strong in my decision. NO regrets whatsoever. I (62) don´t and dare say nobody does. We have a full life they way we want it and not the way we have to have it because of kids. It is only the ones with kids that sometimes wish they hadn´t.
