Their intended market isn’t just Japan. Tesla is the largest and most well known EV producer in the world, and are growing rapidly. Not just by their ridiculously high market cap, but by volume of EV’s sold. They now have a presence in the NA, EU, and China and are going to be the one to beat for the foreseeable future. I look forward to VW, Ford, GM and BMW continuing to expand to offer the competition they each need to create mass market EV’s that are not only high quality with decent range, but also affordable for everyone. Right now, that just isn’t the case, but we’re seeing that change rapidly.
