Bengaluru is a large city with both amenities and opportunities offered by such. It also comes with problems associated with large cities. Here you’ll get to take part in lot more events, much richer social life, more fellow mates for all sorts of hobbies, better job opportunities etc. It’s also a good experience to stay away from your home city for a few years. On the WWE WrestleMania VI Ultimate Warrior Macho shirt and I love this negative side, you’d face a lot of traffic, pollution and city mess. Life in Shillong would be more peaceful but dull. Cultural and food differences can go either way for people. Some people like taking in the new culture while others struggle. Weather is hotter in Bengaluru but with less humidity. Areas of stay would depend on your office location. Commute is a bitch here, so you’d want to stay as close as rents would allow. Guwahati has nothing, my parents are from Guwahati so I know it very well that there are barely any opportunities even in Guwahati. I would suggest you to move to Bangalore, live a college lifestyle (be cheap) save up as much as you want and then open up a tourism related business in Shillong. People here would die for an opportunity to work out of Shillong. I know there’s problems there that you know more about than others. But known problems are better than unknown worse problems. Just because some people have problems with the city that doesn’t mean it’s the worst. In fact you have been in worse condition(not meant for mocking) minus the pollution and traffic. It will definitely be a great experience.if money is an issue live in 4 sharing pg and try searching for a job.Give it a shot,If it works out great if it doesn’t there is probably better opportunities in store for you.Do not go the Delhi-NCR.You might face racism.

I have been to multiple metros in india. I consider Bangalore as best for an outsider because people are very kind and welcoming.I feel it is very safe.No discrimination on basis of state or language. There are very few incidents but no city is perfect. That can happen anywhere. But if you want peace of mind,it is best.Delhi is worst in terms of road rage and women safety.Chennai you have already been there so I need not to specify. Mumbai or Pune there is concept of aapla manush. Bangalore is free of all such discriminatory practices.Average age is 28 and most educated population in whole India as most of them are IT folks.People bashing it because of traffic are the WWE WrestleMania VI Ultimate Warrior Macho shirt and I love this one who travel alone in the car and then cry for traffic.Just stay away from autowalas and transgenders. They harass people.
