Of course in relationships there is a trade-off (I honestly am nervous about cooking but it could be my eating disorder) but I’ll clean anything no problem, do laundry and vacuum and contribute in other ways that I can, like obviously paying my half of the rent and buying groceries. You’re stressed out, overworked, already caring for children yourself. You don’t need to add another ‘child’ in your life. You probably were stuffing this down for awhile and it just came out in a snap, and I can’t say I would feel differently, based on the circumstances. Honestly maybe this is the reality check he needs to get himself in order and not be taken care of by his partner while doing nothing to help out.
