Every time I go for my yearly eye exam, the new prescription they give me is way too strong and gives me a headache. I asked if they could just adjust for the astigmatism and she said “I’m the doctor, I will tell you what is good for you” I once had a doctor tell me my ideal weight is 185 lbs. I was 6’3 285lbs at the time with probably 25% body fat. Overweight, sure, but big and strong as well. When I got mad at her, she doubled down. I told her that, even if I were 30% body fat, that would mean 90 pounds of fat. Therefore, at 0% body fat, I would weigh 195lbs. Once I hit her with the quick math, she shut up shortly thereafter. 10 years and a foot surgery+ months of therapy later, all I can say is that even if your doctor thinks it’s a small sprain, have your foot in a plaster for 6 weeks I went to an urgent care doctor after having experienced hives for the past 2-3 months and unexplained swelling the night of the visit.

In fact, if the hives were allergy related, they’d be fairly easy to correlate with something happening (for example, a nut allergy manifests itself almost immediately after consuming the allergen nut and then goes away after a time) Saw an ENT for dry mouth/nasal issues. The dumb fuck actually showed me how to take a sip of water. I was 56 years old! I know how to drink fucking water.
