For those that don’t know – getting blood pumped in and steroids is not such a small thing as this strong human makes it out to be. I say this without hyperbole. Monday morning, I call in sick, and I started to get ready to go see a specialist (in South Korea, you can just do that), then in the corner of my eye, I see a bag of beets cheaps I was munching on all week. It turns out, beets juice turns your poop bright red for days.

I stopped buying those Costco beets cheaps anymore because I felt so stupid afterwards. Glad I don’t have cancer though. I didn’t have hemorrhoids, but I do have Crohn’s and at my very worst flare…holy god, nothing prepares you for a bowl painted red. Looks like a murder scene. 1/10 do not recommend. FYI: they use local anesthesia to numb the butthole when removing hemorrhoids. You get to feel every slice, but it’s not painful.
