Like actually, I think I’m gonna now that you’ve said that, come a little closer so I can hit you on the way down My favorite funny joke was when a customer came in and said “Hey do you know anything about fire detectors?” And I responded with “no but I can call som-“ “DO ANY OF YOU PEOPLE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING IN THIS STORE? GOD YOU PEOPLE ARE FUCKING USELESS” It was really funny and made me feel super respected and human My biggest pet peeve is by fellow associates. Page overhead: “Customer needs assistance in aisle/department x.” What that means is that if I’m on the mulch line, I can’t hear it and it pisses off the customer thinking that they are being ignored. Or a phone call: “A lady needs help in plumbing.” “Which aisle, there are several.” “Plumbing.” I get it. I’m a plumbing associate, but I’m also an operator. I’m not on the mulch line because I’m goofing off.
