We should just call him bug-man then? Even though he got his powers from a spider? Batman’s powers could apply to any nocturnal echolocating flying mammal, he just chooses to dress as a bat ¯_​(ツ)_/¯ And that’s the reasoning why i refuse to call Clark Kent “Superman”. As far as I’m concerned, he should be called “Illegal-Immigrant-From-Krypton-Man”. I realy wish it was in between, spiderman can produce his webs, but they doesnt have much range so he needs web shooters to swing from high buildings. Web accelerators! They stretch the web he makes, which allows for long thin swinging rope and thick burst webbing. Same people who seem to love The Punisher but don’t realize Frank is not a role model. Or think Wolverine is more than 5ft tall haha

Stupid ass meme, he only really had organic web shooters relatively recently. OG spiderman was using web shooters for the What Jack O’neill Is Doin shirt it is in the first place but longest time True, and I’ve always found organic webs kinda creepy. Like imagine if the Green Goblin just yanked real hard at the webs and his skin comes tearing off WTF are you talking about? My point was that he has been using web shooters WAY longer than organic webbing so his well known “commonly known powers” were being represented in the MCU. Web shooters are original, organic is a raimi and SOMETIMES comic thing. But overall in most media it has always been webshooters The comic arc with the organic webshooters was also when they had no idea wtf to do with Spider-Man and went kind of weirdly supernatural. I hated that whole era/arc. Worse than Clone Saga IMO It’s not about realism, web shooters are more faithful to the source material and honestly much better to show Peters other characteristics, like his genius, and his ability to improvise. They heighten the stakes and make it much more riveting to read/watch Spiderman heck, the first episode of Ultimate Spider-Man was basically about Peter refusing to use SHIELD’s upgraded higher quality electrical webshooters over his original cheap homemade mechanical ones because he didn’t want to associate himself with them and the development of his webshooters were a big thing in the origin episodes of the 2017 epsiodes too, with him having to figure out how to make them shoot webs at a high PSI and have a long range
