If I had to take frequent or semi frequent trips longer than 60 miles round trip or more lower range would be a major issue. That’s what the Wet up Here Deadpool T-Shirt moreover I love this market will want – regular brands and models they are already familiar with, just have it in an EV version. Perhaps Honda was just waiting for the market to be ready to buy in. At the higher end, the new BMWs get excellent reviews, but are a bit out of most people’s price range (even for the combustion versions). Honda is really slacking on the ev market. I agree that crv & civic needs an ev line. & i think they would sell well. Eh. Hydrogen will likely have a place in the future, specifically for construction equipment, trains, semis, off-road vehicles, etc. Frankly, Tesla making “normal” looking EVs is one of the reasons they were successful. Their cars are recognizable, but look like relatively normal cars and don’t try to look like something from Back to the Future 2. Many other manufacturers decide they need to make EVs look like they were designed by aliens. Most potential EV buyers just want a normal looking car. The only thing that scares me with Sony being involved is that they like proprietary formats. As long as they can use a universal standard it sounds great. It’s ironic that most of Sony formats that failed were often technologically better that the winning competitor format.

I’m not going to pretend that Memory Stick or UMD were any good. Although, there is an argument that Sony did release Memory Stick a year prior to the Wet up Here Deadpool T-Shirt moreover I love this SD Card being released. That said, Betamax, Minidisc, DAT and ATRAC all had their uses and were, in fairness, better than their rival formats. But better comes at a cost (for the consumer) and Sony wasn’t going to settle for lower quality. So they stubbornly stuck with it and it cost them. That said, they were also right with CD. Sony also popularised the 3.5mm audio jack and they struck gold with the Walkman. I think they would have done the same with ATRAC/Minidisc if not for iPod. I mean, MiniDisc is genuinely a great physical format and the level of sound quality – especially for their time – is insane. They just ended up getting hampered by their storage size in an age where flash memory was beginning to take hold.
