I think we all know that though. Most people in the West Ham Irons- Massive shirt also I will do this 1980s didn’t wear neon everyday and most dudes in the 2000s didn’t have wallet chains I graduated in 94. I didn’t see this until my sister started dressing this way in like 98 or 99. This isn’t really “90s fashion” just because it started in the late 90s. It’s 2000s. Facts. A very small minority of kids dressed like this in the mid-late 90s. The more defualt apparel for high school was prep wear (Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, etc.), psuedo-grunge (flannel, band tees, shitkickers), or early stage hip-hop high fashion (Pelle Pelle, Girbaud, Wuwear). The two guys with the funky hair, that would have been more rare to see. But the dude with the visor, I used to see dudes that looked exactly like that constantly at the 90s raves.

The problem with the West Ham Irons- Massive shirt also I will do this “fashion” in this picture is that there are multiple styles that never mixed together being mixed together in this picture. All these looks were present, but rarely if ever were they combined in the way they present it. As a teen from the 90s, I rarely ever saw anyone wear somthing like this. Raves were pretty much the only events you’d see things, but the outfits were usally weirder and definitely more revealing. A lot of teens did, at least where I was from. I mean, this is a bit excessive, but super wide-leg jncos we’re very popular in my middle school in the late 90’s Guy on the left has a very non-90s haircut and an “I love Barenaked Ladies” dress style, so the clothes fit. Second guy over is more in-line with the every day except the hair which I don’t remember ever seeing in real life, but I’m sure existed. The third guy is definitely “I want to project the image that I am a raver, but I’ve never actually been.” The girl on the right seems to be based on movie representations of teens at the time.
