Who in Black culture? Rappers? Singers? If folks in entertainment are wealthy, it’s recently established wealth, not old money, most likely. If you go to Martha’s Vineyard, with its wealthy Black enclave, they are are as subtle and understated as any community with multi generational wealth. Because Billy Joel once said “You can’t dress trashy till you spend a lot of money” and they heard that and thought “guess this is my personality now”. To seriously answer this though, and this is a guess, it’s to humanize themselves and help make them seem “relatable” to the Wealth Cryptocurrency Money You Should Like Bitcoin shirt But I will love this rest of us. Because money just doesn’t matter to them. The fact they can buy expensive clothes is just…whatever. It’s completely normal. It would be like you or me showing off that you can buy a Bic pen.

Im not sure where you draw the Wealth Cryptocurrency Money You Should Like Bitcoin shirt But I will love this line at ultra wealthy, but a lot of pretty darned rich people are just normal ass people who have been successful in their career. You see the “new money” thing because they are trying to be seen, but you also DONT see all of the first generation wealthy people that just blend in that you walk past every day of the week. Back when I did a good amount of auto racing, you meet a ton of rich people, and honestly a huge % of them are just everyday, normal people. Sure, they had some sweet race cars, but they also buy their gym shorts on amazon and wear hanes t shirts and whatever just like everyone else. I know a guy that owned a local plumbing and HVAC company with maybe like 15 trucks. Made a couple million a year, and unless you happened to see him with his race car or went to his pretty large ranch out in the country, youd have absolutely no way to tell him apart from anybody else inside the walmart. Because “flashy” draws attention. There are plenty of billionaires that don’t advertise their status. In fact with the way things are going with the constant drumbeats of income inequality there is even less of an incentive to stand out.
