The patient seems to have been infected with a strain that has undergone a change and could cause disease in those who are not vaccinated. I don’t understand what this sentence is telling us. As far as I know the We Will Be Heard National Nurses March-May T-Shirt but in fact I love this original, unchanged strain of the polio virus causes disease in those who are not vaccinated so why would we assume this one wouldn’t? Maybe it’s a typo and they meant to say in people not fully vaccinated but are partially vaccinated? I truly don’t know No vaccine. Travel to areas that still haven’t been vaccinated against it. Alot of developing nations are still living ( or dying ) from vaccine preventable Illness I feel very bad for the child. The parents had a choice. They could face what they perceived as the unknown of the vaccine or the unknown of the virus. Unfortunately for their child and for the rest of the population there, they chose poorly. Not entirely, and as long as it’s still floating around out there anywhere, people need to vaccinate against it. Mommy is an antivaxxing idiot. Looking forward to all of the absolute morons in the US who don’t vaccinate their children against polio and we end up with a new generation of kids raised in iron lungs. But hey, at least they’ll have their freedom! /s “One of the Last People to Live in an Iron Lung Is a Longhorn | The Alcalde”

We Will Be Heard National Nurses March-May T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

My grandmother suffered from polio when she was a child and is now dealing with post polio syndrome. She’s also a psycho trump supporter who rages against vaccines and is firmly in the We Will Be Heard National Nurses March-May T-Shirt but in fact I love this anti-vax crowd…..wild place this version of reality. Orthodox Judaism will say god willed it but did he really. What’s the grand scheme for him and his family or the people that treat and will see this first hand. Not anti religious or anything but god damn if we made humans the priority over religion then the world would better By that logic they can’t drive cars or eat processed food because man created / tampered with those. They’re technically not gods design. You can’t argue logic with people who put everything through the filter of magical thinking like religion. When I was little, there were commercials with pictures of iron lungs, I think. They used to say “polio is not dead. It’s only sleeping.“
