I think the We Wear Green For Lymphoma Cancer Awareness Three Gnomes T-Shirt and by the same token and only thing I didn’t like about this finale was how it starts with Kendall in full manic mode, ignoring the strategic advice about their vote numbers and being overconfident. I don’t have an issue with him going manic like he always does, but it felt sudden and out of place. For the majority of the season we’ve seen Kendall getting his shit together and morphing into Logan, and the last 2 episodes in particular have hammered that home. To see him back in Same Ol Ken mode right at the start just felt off. But if that’s my only gripe, then it’s a damn successful episode. It’s one of those endings to a series where viewers leave with varying levels of satisfaction but for me it’s a show I followed incredibly closely but will never watch again.

Damn, Shiv unintentionally pitched Tom as CEO in her first scene. Just went off about how capable and replaceable he is, but will “suck the We Wear Green For Lymphoma Cancer Awareness Three Gnomes T-Shirt and by the same token and biggest dixk in the room.” Shiv has too many ideas and Tom is exactly what Matsson is looking for right now. Shiv is the 0.0000001% but she still cannot run away from the patriarchy prison. First was her father,then her brother,now even her loser husband can control her feelings. hate it. All 3 of them came out of that final confrontation with some of the worst things ever done. Shiv really pulled the “you got somebody killed” card out of her hat, a true statement but clearly A. Not really relevant to the conversation B. A really disgusting move considering Kendall told her that in a moment of profound weakness and C. Just another excuse to not let her big brother win. Roman pulled out one of his lowest ever blows, claiming that Kendall’s kids don’t count as blood. And of course Kendall in desperation tried to rewrite history and revoke his murder confession, all to get his prize. Roman was right, they are all bullshit. The ending was so contrived. And the frustrating thing is they could’ve hit the same spot and been a lot more convincing about it if this last episode had some different story beats earlier. But characters all of the sudden bringing up stuff now felt like the writers were making the Nolan/Joy Westworld error: they went for shock value over consistency, they wanted to surprise the audience even if it undid (years of) setup.
