They need to do this type of thing more instead of retelling the We love skateboarding America flag shirt Apart from…,I will love this exact same story with reboots. Let us see the broader world these classic stories are set in, let us explore the timeline. I’m stoked for this. Yeah it’d be great if they started to tell some of the backstory of the Predator species and what the hell else they do besides go hunting on alien planets. There MUST be more to them than that one thing This is how they save the franchise imo. Take the formula back to basics where it is the baddest people on the planet fighting something from space that is there to hunt them for sport. Hopefully they cast a bunch of indigenous actors for this one because lord knows that those folks rarely get starring roles and when it is time to make a native American character the characters are so often pigeonholed into being stereotypes played by people with no connection to the culture. Also they have the pirate story they hinted at in Predator 2 and fleshed out in a comic so prequels all day baby just make sure that the studio execs behind Shane Black’s The Predator, aka studio notes the movie, aren’t allowed anywhere near this franchise again.

Period-piece horror needs to become a thing: Final Destination during the We love skateboarding America flag shirt Apart from…,I will love this renaissance; A demonic possession during the search for the holy grail; witches vs knights… I haven’t seen a single Predator movie, and the original premise doesn’t particularly excite me. But I’m actually excited for Prey. The first image they released looks really cool, and the idea of Native Americans and aliens hunting each other is awesome. We really didn’t need another requel of tcm. 3d was amazing, and leather face kind of ruined it. They could have made a sequel with daddario, but because the prequel failed, they gave up and started over I am as well, though I don’t see how plains natives with bows and arrows would stand any chance at all when modern special ops wasn’t even a challenge. I hope they take that into consideration in the development and have the predators use non-explosive weapons and lasers/guns so it’s more of a level field.
