However, the effort to suppress the vote has continued in various forms throughout history.

Today, voter suppression tactics aim to disenfranchise marginalized communities, such as communities of color, low-income individuals, and the elderly. These tactics include voter ID laws, restrictions on early voting, and the purging of voter rolls. By undermining the right to vote, these efforts undermine the very fabric of our democratic society.

Reproductive rights are essential for women’s autonomy and bodily integrity. The 1973 Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade legalized abortion nationwide, recognizing a woman’s right to make decisions about her own body. However, this right is under constant attack from anti-abortion activists.

In recent years, numerous states have enacted restrictive abortion laws that make it difficult or impossible for women to access safe and legal abortions. These laws often force women to travel long distances, undergo invasive procedures, or face unaffordable costs. The rollback of reproductive rights not only violates women’s fundamental freedoms but also undermines their ability to control their own lives and futures.
The “We Are Not Going Back” Voting Rights Vote Reproductive Rights T-Shirt embodies a call to action. It is a reminder that these rights are not to be taken for granted. To preserve them, we must engage in collective action.
