Except my parents, I go to them for advice and conversation ALL THE TIME. They are genuinely my biggest fans and support. My sibling is toxic to me and I’m probably toxic to her. We view life differently. We would never talk or hang out. I think I keep trying because I’m chasing what we once had. Before husbands, babies and bills. I haven’t felt it in many years. My dad is the most hateful person I know. He’s incredibly racist and hates lgtbq. I also think he looks down on women. Never would I ever keep that in my life. I’m supportive of everyone and he hates it. My mom is a kind sweet soul. She’d stay forever. We bake, cook, garden and so on together a lot. We very very rarely butt heads and she’s uplifting.

I love my children. My oldest is very serious and I could see her wondering off and checking in occasionally throughout life and that’s ok. I’m a very silly, light and probably have toxic positivity and as she gets older our personalities could clash. I wouldn’t hold it against her ever. As a kid I viewed family a certain way.
