There’s a lot of people in this comment section who clearly don’t know how a concrete plant works – you’re not clearly alone here. They are constantly producing wet concrete, 24/7. Corporations will try to claim any loss in revenue in any way as a result of a strike will be considered property damages and thus able to sue pretty much any striking union. So if they just didn’t show up to work at the start of the day then it would have been okay? Assuming everything the company claims is true of course.
