Finally, the Walt disney world since 1971 the most magical place on earth shirt and I love this local jurisdictional powers (provinces) with right wing governments sat on their hands, and literally wrote letters to the federal government asking for help to clear out the blockades. They were probably delighted that either way they get to ‘score points’ agaisnt trudeau (blockades persist – trudeau is weak, he does something – tyranny). So the real scandal here is how multiple levels of government failed (local and provincial), requiring the federal government to step in. And now they get to make political hay against the action they asked for. This quesiton seems to imply that submitting evidence is A) a massive in convince, and B) only worth it if there is something in it for ‘you’. I think if people have video evidence they just send it, sign an affidavit or something & that’s about it, right?

Ah well, sucks to suck. Probably should have just kept it as a protest instead of trying to turn yourself into an occupying force Nah, the Walt disney world since 1971 the most magical place on earth shirt and I love this death knell of the protest was the police moving in, dismantling it, and arresting the people involved instead of just standing by and doing nothing like they did for weeks beforehand All protests are funded like this. Do you really think the people in Occupy Wall street could afford to buy food for two months after quitting their job to sit around on their ass all day? There will never be a real protest by this metric ever again. Real convenient now but this will come back to bite the other side. I hate these right wing, white supremacist fascists with a passion, but this is not okay. This is a transparent intimidation tactic to keep quiet or lose everything. Worse, this is going to not just hurt the fascist truckers, but their potentially innocent family members. The Canadian government is basically telling it’s citizens that they need to sit down and shut up or their families will be homeless and starve. Fascism is a movement that promotes the idea of a forcibly monolithic, regimented nation under the control of an autocratic ruler. If you think Canada’s government is fascist. You need to look south under Trump. I’m always baffled by how people believe civil disobedience should be some kind of excuse for avoiding consequences of the illegal action. Going to jail, paying the fine, or what ever the legally prescribed punishment for the crime you are choosing to commit as an act of protest is implicit in the act of civil disobedience. Explain? If an individual or a group can’t tap resources to pay for a high quality defense then what sort of defense can they muster?
