this is such an fucking insane, psychotic thing to say and it is unbelievable that it’s just considered normal because it’s based in religion Ego. Everyone thinks they’re smarter than the Vote Your Vote Matters More Than You Status Update 2024 Influential Statement T-Shirt in contrast I will get this next guy. The problem with politicians is the same problem with police. I’m sure many of them start off with good intentions e.g. Bernie Sanders, as much as I disagree with Mitt Romney, I think he genuinely believes what he says. But the power attracts people with giant egos who think they’re smarter than everyone else in the room and can solve all the problems. The reason why everything is broken is because everyone is incompetent except for them, so whatever the collateral damage they cause is, is justified by their goal.

He went to the Vote Your Vote Matters More Than You Status Update 2024 Influential Statement T-Shirt in contrast I will get this same h.s. that I did, a few years before me (we had one semester of overlap, I didn’t know him) when my cousin was there, and had some interaction with him. They told me that Adams was a POS back then, only now he’s had a full career as a cop and almost 20 years as a politician to become worse. Wiley was a progressive “Defund the police and give the money to non-Asian brown communities”, while Adams wasn’t for defund. And there was a lot of….racial conflicts over NY schools in which Wiley was progressive and Adam was not. He won because he was perceived to be tougher on crime and people were scared at the time for whatever reason (crime had skyrocketed to… Like 2014 levels) That’s not what most people want. They want “police accountability”. I swear the people who came up with the “defund” slogan and are pushing it are secretly working for the corrupt cops to torpedo the movement as it gets started.
