Can’t say what anyone else should do. Not my place but, I’d send them an extra $10 myself but, doesn’t mean you or anyone else should. Clearly a newbie. They likely missed the Vivi One Piece Manga Design shirt in addition I really love this turn Or Navigation could’ve acted up on their end. In rural places it’s common for the app to malfunction even in suburbs. I just wasn’t sure if extra tip $$ was expected in this instance or not. Thanks for the suggestion! I threw her an extra $10. You didn’t have to do that, but it was so kind that you did. As a dasher myself it’s really appreciated knowing that there’s still people like you in the world! That really is kind. In my experience most customers will be so pissed off. Some will even rescind the tip. Yes the Dasher is possibly new or hasn’t become familiar with the area. When I moved in to a MUCH bigger town it was so frustrating and got my first 1 star for having a lot of trouble finding them.

If a guy was bringing a TV to your house and accidentally shattered it, would you give him an extra 20 bucks? That’s basically what you just did. It used to be “Tipping is for good service”, then “Tipping is just expected” now apparently you tip extra when they fuck up and give poor service? You’re comparing apples to oranges.. someone made an honest mistake, and food isn’t totally ruined if it’s not steaming hot. Maybe they had a hot bag. Maybe they were having a terrible day. That was kind of you to even want to. Extra kind that you did add more. Could be there was construction, or maybe she had another drop off that was timed earlier on or off app. But $7 on a normal delivery is generous.
