Edit: I don’t at all hate children. I love my goddaughter and actually think it’s beneficial for the Viva Las Vegas Alfa Romeo F1 Is Back In Sin City For The Inaugural Las Vegas GP 2023 Classic shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this friendship that I’m a bit more footloose and fancy free. I can do all the driving over, I can cook and clean, I can hold her squirmy self at a cafe so my friend can eat. Love being involved in her life but just don’t want one of my own. But one challenge I didn’t fully anticipate is how your role with your friends changes as their kids become teenagers and young adults. It is much easier for them to stay kind of concealed in that world. My 40s has been a hustle to go outside my comfort zone to try to maintain a social life like I had before. I used to do volunteer work at an age care. It was quite a fancy, expensive place and there were probably close to 300 clients, ages ranged from around 60-90. Every fortnight, the place hosted a social event where the family visited. Most of the clients were ecstatic to see their children, grandchildren etc. The clients who did not have kids were lonely as they had zero visitors. Every once in a while, a relative would visit but that was it. I used to talk with the clients a lot and each of the ones who didn’t have children said they regretted it. Most of them passed on having children in order to pursue their career, businesses, personal fulfilment etc and they said that it made sense at the time but looking back, they would’ve done things differently. It hit hard knowing they would never get a chance to redo. I’m not trying to convince anyone to have children, just providing a different perspective.

Nope. Matter of fact spending time with my niece and nephews this weekend drove that point home. I do not have the Viva Las Vegas Alfa Romeo F1 Is Back In Sin City For The Inaugural Las Vegas GP 2023 Classic shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this patience for children no matter the age. I’ve never considered not having kids (4) and although my kids haven’t always been perfect I love them all and wouldn’t change a thing. They’re my closest confidants, supports (although it’s usually the other way around) source of joy and hope for the future. I grew up in a 2 up 2 down house in the North West. There’s a hatch on the wall between the kitchen and living room. We barely used it when I was growing up but now when I visit we pass cups through if someone offers to make a brew. My mum was thinking about getting rid of it and I was horrified, that little window door is part of my childhood, even if we didn’t use it much. It was always just part of the home. Did/does anyone else have one? I had a quick Google and I’ve seen some contemporary designs with them but it still seems a bit out of the norm.Yeah my nan had a serving hatch, I suspect most people have just knocked through into one room by now.
