Another example is her jumping up. I constantly, constantly train her not to jump on. And she knows now not to do it with me. But the Virginia Basketball Is Iowa Football Shirt but in fact I love this trouble is, ever since she’s been a puppy, if she gets excited and wanted attention and she jumps up on someone, 9/10 they’ve encouraged her to do that. Strangers will approach me without asking – she’ll get excited and even though I’m commanding her to stay down, the stranger often is ignoring this, cuddling her and essentially encouraging this bad behaviour. It’s really, really hard to navigate that. I often explain that I’m training her to not jump up but…. People just get excited over seeing a dog I guess. There are a lot of people who will bring their child up to my dog, or stroke her or call her over without asking permission.

So to answer your question honestly… people who don’t like dogs are wholly entitled to that view of course, but the Virginia Basketball Is Iowa Football Shirt but in fact I love this reality is that they are in the minority. I think some dog owners have become relaxed therefore, and assume you are comfortable with dogs or won’t mind. It sounds like your dog needs to be on a lead – if you can’t control it, it can’t control itself and it’s apparently other people’s fault when it doesn’t behave. Dogs just aren’t made for cities tbh. Most breeds need a mix of on lead and off lead walks to fulfil their exercise requirements but that doesn’t tend to go well when there is a population of over 8 million in the city. Dogs are meant to be running around in rural fields i take solace in the fact that the REALLY bad dog owners dont even take their dogs out, ever. so at least the person is trying. 99 times out of 100 nothing happens. still not a great situation to be in but hey we are only a single person making our way thru the world, youre going to be constantly surrounded by things you dont like anytime you venture out of your safety zone
