I went on a quite expensive bus tour in Mexico and before we could get off the Vintage Sunset Save The Okapi T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this bus that dropped us off at each resort, we were subjected to a sob story about how the guides on the bus rely on tips and wanted AMERICAN money for tips (preferably $20.) This was years ago but this bus excursion was at least £300+ for 2 people, so where is all of that money going toward? That was one thing I said to my dad in the US, “I thought we’d be expected to tip due to the prices being low!”. One of the bars we were in (which had a great selection of craft ales and actually knew how to serve them – ie, not in frozen glasses and ice floating in the ale; of course, that’s closed down now) was charging prices that would make London blush yet still wanted 20% on top! The Lyft/Uber gave me standard options of like $1/$3/$5 to tip for a $20 ride, but you didn’t have to, and it was only once you were out of the taxi.

The free shuttle from LAX to the Vintage Sunset Save The Okapi T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this hotel never asked for tips, neither did any of the signs at reception at the hotel. They put on a shuttle to and from Sofi Stadium both nights for WrestleMania for $50 and the drivers on both days never mentioned tips, and I saw no one give any either. Restaurants did always ask if I wanted the change, whether it was $1 change or $9 change, probably so i’d say “nah its fine” but the times I said yes they never acted any differently. I guess I just had a good experience with it but I was expecting worse. Any time I used the card machine at restaurants or the stadium the tip thing did pop up though, even for the popcorn guys that go around the seats. You were luckier than I was! I don’t know how you managed to avoid it so well. I went around Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.
