I read Nelly bly’s book! it was crazy. the Vintage Jaromir Jágr Penguins shirt in other words I will buy this audiobook was only a few hours, finished it in an afternoon. I recommend it ooh if you’re putting stuff on lists, read banana: fate of the fruit that changed the world by dan koeppel and learn the sordid history of the humble bananana. it’s enthralling It was an annoying 15 seconds. I read the book when it was new and hated it. I was shocked when it became a show, and promptly appalled by everyone around me that fawned over its rediculous messages. Idk, I felt betrayed by that depiction of mental health. Oh and started a program where post-it compliments were everywhere. It seems every school I went to had that bullshit after that. I dont think kids like me ever got them – I know I didn’t.

Hilarious Tbh know, all I got from 13 reasons why is the phrase “this about to be my thirteenth reason” when anything mildly Inconvenient happens It’s like when the pandemic first hit the US and we all cared about “essential workers” for a month or two before demanding they return to work and everything returns to normal and we all live happily ever after because Americans got bored of the pandemic And that also was around the same time it became the “popular” thing to have a Mental Illness. Plenty of fakers hopping on the bandwagon of attention that people with legitimate issues were being given. I don’t remember locals feeling this way. I think most people binge watched it during covid then moved on to another show. Lol it was filmed at my highschool in Sonoma. I’m telling you they had suicide awareness posters in analy and el molino. God that death scene was brutal. I’ve unfortunatly seen a lot of real life brutal death videos and the Hannah baker death scene still haunts me
