and in before anyone distorts my words, “Don’t generalize all men” ≠ “Defending the Vintage Circle Patrick Swayze American actor dancer and singer-songwriter T-Shirt moreover I love this crazy ones”, Black and white thinking is poison. I’m a man and I don’t think it’s necessarily true that it’s the lack of compliments that cause those men to be creeps. Creepy men are less likely to be complimented anyway which makes it a negative feedback loop. You suggest they flood the channels in hopes of giving so many choices to weirdos that they can’t decide? This is not a generalization of all men nor a defence of such a thing unless you think women are incapable of any discernment about a man’s character or that all men never get complimented enough. Neither of which is true. Why can’t men compliment other men until it becomes mundane enough that it’s safe for women to also compliment men they don’t know? Solves both problems.

I don’t understand how a woman is supposed to know how to tell the Vintage Circle Patrick Swayze American actor dancer and singer-songwriter T-Shirt moreover I love this difference, or why they should be expected to risk it? Why can’t you compliment your friends or other guys you see? Women are complimented most often by other women. Men don’t compliment women they aren’t attracted to. Other women do. And that’s not a lack of empathy for men. I compliment my boyfriend all the time. I buy him flowers, support and love him. I compliment men all the time, as long as they’re people that I trust. Nobody owes anyone their safety in exchange for their comfort. You’re quick to point to women not taking any risks to combat the issue but why aren’t you asking other men to contribute to creating a better culture for men? It’s not all men, but we don’t know who the bad ones are. It’s not all men but if every woman complimented every man, they’d find one. And the consequences of that aren’t exactly trivial.
