They’ll all get a stern talk and a wink, then a handshake and a big big bonus, but not as big as they’d like… but next time, next time, there is always next time. There is no accountability. They will still get their same enormous bonuses while those they laid off will struggle. That is not accountability.

So he’s claiming responsibility for their shortcomings, but he’s not the one that takes the hit? Sounds like those 1,500 workers got fired because he failed them as a CEO. Ye and other responsible leadership couldn’t have taken a cut to account for their failures so the 1,500 that didn’t do a thing wrong could keep their livelihood? In other news, Nike CEO announces that he will take a pay cut in 2024. Instead of the $33 million he received in 2023, he will receive a mere $32.5 million. What a team player he is!
