I personally never really “came out”, like my friends know I’m bi but I just acted that way and they rolled with it. Could never tell my family though, that wouldn’t go well, at least not with my parents. I cant count how many times I’ve joined discord calls hoping for a fun time and hearing slurs thrown around like they’re nothing. I have no idea what it’s like to be a gay man, but I know what it’s like to be within the Vietnam veterans day orange agent victims retired soldiers Vietnam veteran shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this lgbtq in this era of anonymity Yep, yes it is. Even more so when your livelihood and entire career hinges on it. Esport is not friendly to lgbt folks, and you have to play and often live with your team. It’s basically the least safe kind of situation to comes out, barring places where it’s an actual crime

It’s the Vietnam veterans day orange agent victims retired soldiers Vietnam veteran shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this meme with the box, you’re inching outside the box slowly but then you get punched right back in and think “never again :)” Yep. Very well worded and thought out post from him as well. Takes a lot of courage to come out like this — mad respect to biofrost On almost every team I’ve been on, I’ve heard homophobic comments from either my teammates or the staff and felt uncomfortable, even borderline afraid of possibly losing my job if I told the truth. He only played at TSM, CLG and DIG professionally, right? Wonder how these orgs will respond to that, If they will even respond I remember during IWD’s watch along of Breaking Point recently he told a story of Steve having to come up to the house (Old roster from a really long time ago) and just tell everyone to stop saying the F-slur all the time. It was so common for them to throw it out in conversation it was a worry they might say it accidentally on stream or publicly and cause a problem. Being someone who grew up on Xbox Live I definitely understand the idea of it just being used to the point of not even thinking about it. Probably was the same for many teams as they were just young gamers that probably came from that type of environment. As far as how they respond – I hope that him posting this while signed to DIG means it’s a more accepting place, but given how pervasive homophobia and general bigotry is in the gaming sphere I wouldn’t be surprised if it has been a problem at all three to varying degrees. edit: for clarity i know it’s easy to shit on regi right now, but if someone told me he was homophobic i would 100% believe them. Absolutely seems like the kind of guy to call someone gay for acting “non masculine”
