Happened to me last week. Missed my early flight from DCA to ORD. Next flight was full so booked a flight scheduled 5 hours later. And, airlines have decided that despite all of the rate increases that they aren’t going to properly pay their staff so service is spotty and shitty. Actually that doesn’t seem to be correct based on the data.Just a symptom of a growing generation of egoists and social media induced sociopaths being locked together in a noisy and narrow tube designed by Morlocks for their human cattle for a few hours. This is why I only carry on. Baggage claim is a high anxiety place. Two lunatics in the same place/same time… I’m actually surprised it doesn’t happen more often
