In the Victor Olofsson Swedish professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for the Buffalo Sabres T-Shirt and by the same token and days before email and mobile phones, I wish I’d made more effort to stay in touch with my friends from schooldays. Learning to play an instrument. I don’t think I’d ever have been great, but it would be so amazing to be able to play a few songs that I like. Mine is also driving! I grew up poor in London so there was no need and also I couldn’t afford to learn younger. Then moved away somewhere it’s more necessary, still couldn’t afford it at first. Now I can but I’m paying upwards of £45/hr to learn and struggling through, I wish I’d got on with it sooner. I probably should have learned to drive by now. Because of where I live I’ve mostly got by taking trains and buses (although suburban buses are very hit and miss) but I often feel a bit silly spending 45 minutes to travel ten miles or something mental like that when I could drive it in half the time. I thought about getting a bike and cycling to places but I don’t want to get mown down by a dickhead in a BMW or a yummy mummy on the school run in her 4×4, which are also the people who put me off learning to drive.

I wish I hadn’t smoked weed, don’t get me wrong my life is good, passed all my exams with good results and have a happy life but I always wonder how different my life would be without weed. Nearly all of my friends moved onto class A drugs, I never tried any class A and was admired for it which is definitely a red flag that all your friends are druggies. 18 years later I’m 33, 3 are dead from suicide and a handful are broken through crack addiction, if they stuck to the Victor Olofsson Swedish professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for the Buffalo Sabres T-Shirt and by the same token and weed they probably be okay. Even though I fared well compared to my friends I feel that without weed I would have a different circle, probably a more successful circle, instead I feel like the last man standing. Driving for sure… I learned at 17 but had no reason to own a car at the time. Now I’m shit scared to do it, despite refresher lessons! Ive just started driving lessons at 26. Could have done them 9 years ago but didnt feel the need. So im right there with you on that
