The trailers make it seem like you have to read a lot of C-list comics like The Defenders and a lot of Dr Strange and have seen all the Very unhinged cat funny shirt besides I will buy this Disney+ shows to really appreciate all the content. I’m not surprised by these reviews at all. I’m starting to wonder if Feige has lost his touch. So far Phase 4 has been pretty dull and if this is the attempt to make it all fit together then it doesn’t bode well. The aggregate are generally correct. A movie that’s rotten tends to suck. A movie that’s fresh tends to be good. If you take 100 reviews and they average out to a given score it tends to accurately reflect the actual quality regardless of your personal opinion on it. It looks like another L from Marvel, maybe now they’ll stop focusing on cameos and manufactured excitement and start making real movies made by creative artists and not by corporate committee. Is the MCU Shakespeare? Nope. But if I walk out of a movie feeling like I had a fun time and excited for future movies it’s a win for me. And TBH we as a general movie audience could do a whole lot worse than the effort the MCU does. It’s not flawless obviously but there is thought and care in it. You should hold yourself in higher regard if you think that Marvel is what you deserve as general entertainment

Pre endgame i would have disagreed. But everything since endgame has been so far below what marvel used to be. Idk why endgame caused such a shift, but everything since then has felt rushed, bland, and looked particularly gross CGI-wise. Such a shame Such an unforced error. I was honestly more excited for Phase 4 than any other in the Very unhinged cat funny shirt besides I will buy this MCU. But after the bland ending of WV, the mehness of FATWS, the frankly revolting and disrespectful LOKI, the flat Black Widow, and the shallowness of Eternals, all the projects I was looking forward to, I feel cured of any love for the series. At least Shang Chi was a delightful surprise, but even its ending was marred by its connection to the MCU and robbed of emotion. At least Ben Kingsley was marvellous in it. He and Morris might be the only things I come back for in future. I could literally care less about rotten tomatoes. Honest about movie critics in general. So many times I find myself enjoying movies that have a mediocre score.
