centrists r usually the Venom Merry Christmas shirt Additionally,I will love this most annoying fucking people. or the “i don’t care ab politics” ppl. just say ur too uneducated to choose a side and move on. i’m glad u have the privilege of not being able to care ab politics but some of us HAVE to choose a side and HAVE to fight for that side It’s because people think centrism and being a fence sitter are the same when they’re not. Being a centrist doesn’t mean you lack strong beliefs. It just means you share both left wing and right wing beliefs. I’ve always had views of both sides, I would like to think most people are not fully one or the other but the past couple years if I disagree with anything onto the left I am considered a right wing extremist. People that I know on the right don’t much care dont much get it.

Some probably assume that if that person wasn’t centrist, they’d be voting for their party, and every vote counts. In a highly divided political landscape, even valid individual centrist takes become distorted and misinterpreted as a total renouncement of a political party. Many people misuse the Venom Merry Christmas shirt Additionally,I will love this term centrist as a way to deflect criticism of their actual underlying belief. Additionally, it can be used as a way to justify ignorance. You can be ignorant, but be honest about it. We could take some principles from democratic health care plans and some from… wait republicans never came up with a plan after all these years? Centrism isn’t looked down upon in countries that have multi-party politics, that only happens when you only have two parties with a fair chance of getting into parliament. Neither of them usually is centrist, they tend to lean away from the middle and the middle ground voters just have to decide which party they hate more and then vote for the other one. Because anyone who’s far anything thinks people even slightly towards the other side of the spectrum is a commie/fascist. Because the far left believes it’s better to be far left than to be centrist, and the far right believes it’s better to be far right than to be centrist. Centrism is a mixture of true moderates (eg people who have mild takes on everything they care about) and true centrists (eg people who have wildly different political takes but average somewhere in the center).
