TBH its the Vegas Golden Knights Super Fan Rip Hulk Shirt Furthermore, I will do this only big celebration you will probably experience in your life – dresses and suits, music and photographs and all that. Birth of child is a great thing, but IMHO its more about relief (after X hours of stress) and slightly spoiled by expectation of years of hard work – not to mention that you can’t exactly organize a party when you can’t properly sleep and are still in pain. It’s traditional. Plus it’s a nice thing to include all your family and close friends. Idk is the problem that some people can afford more than others? I just think money is too important to be spending thousands of dollars on that. Finances are too strict these days For me, I did not find out that my parents had saved up $3500 for me and my 3 siblings to help with wedding expenses. (No, the money could not be used for a honeymoon). A guy I served with in Iraq and Afghanistan who normally charges around $1300 to DJ weddings offered to do it for free because of what we went through together. I guess if you have the opportunity then you can take it, but a LOT of people don’t have anywhere near that opportunity. Some people just live paycheck to paycheck and a lot of their friends usually do as well. Those were the big ones, along with one of my buddies, who loves using different software to make YouTube videos. He offered to film our wedding and make a video for us since he had never done that before. So that was another free expense.

Like I said I could have easily been happy with a courthouse wedding, but when you get pretty much over $7,000 handed to you for wedding expenses why not. I worked in event catering for a while. 10k is nothing. Ppl spend upwards of 100k on a wedding with around 200 guests. Hell sometimes the Vegas Golden Knights Super Fan Rip Hulk Shirt Furthermore, I will do this brides dress+accessories is 10k See in my eyes, if the money you spend on a wedding can also finance a house… you may have overspent a little on the wedding haha the idea behind a wedding is announcing the whole village that you’re, well married. so if you’re seen together no one shall wonder or shame you. and we definitely don’t need that anymore Weddings aren’t about the bride and groom getting married. They’re about throwing a big party so that the family you love can come together to meet your partners family. Why would you want to normalize this? You can just not have a wedding if you don’t want to? Or are you afraid you’ll be judged for having no family or friends to share a momentous life milestone with? With that being said, I would have married my wife any way she would have me. We were fortunate enough to have to big day, but marrying her is what mattered Let’s normalize gifting at minimum $100 per wedding attendee. And if you dont want to gift there’s a simple elegant solution. Don’t go.
