I can tell you that it’s be much easier for me to be homeless again in the Vancouver Canucks ’47 Lamp Lighter Franklin Shirt in addition I really love this snow and cold than it would somewhere that experiences extreme heat. I’m just not built for that kind of environment, and I grew up in a town that could get 300 inches a year and can have snow pretty much all but about 4 months of the year. So, if you’re acclimated? There’s definitely a difference. So, I have a tad more experience on that end of things from a short term issue I went through. People are stuck out in the cold. A lot of locations setup shelters for when it gets below a certain temp (usually below freezing, btw). And, people will try to line up by those locations in advance on those days. Issue is, shelters have limited #’s of beds they can setup per square footage. Anything government can regulate is like this. So, only the first so many are going to get in, then a bunch of people are stuck outside, by a shelter, and no one is driving them anywhere else. Since it becomes known there are never enough beds, there are individuals who will harm others to get their spots in line, etc. It’s a rather scary scenario.

The people who pick them up take them to these same shelters to be dropped off, but they’re usually already full. They die. Every year we find several frozen to death. I live in an area where it gets super cold and there’s no help for the Vancouver Canucks ’47 Lamp Lighter Franklin Shirt in addition I really love this homeless. Phoenix doesn’t provide “new shelter option for the winter (it gets down to 30° December/January nights). I was homeless during that time, had a car to sleep in until early January then I was on the street, tried a shelter (made it 4 days before something deeply traumatic happened and couldn’t do it, it was extremely scary), I then put myself in potentially dangerous situations to be off the street (not prostitution, selling drugs, stealing, etc). I always stayed to myself and avoided encampments and groups of nomads. There was a huge amount of money allotted by the city ($900,000 in 2023) to have Lutheran churches open their door for shelter but you have to be working or actively looking for work all day or else you’re kicked out. This doesn’t work for 1/3 or 1/2 the homeless population who are unable to work, so, they’re on the street. It sucks, but no blizzards there.
