Once at the Valliant Solar Eclipse 2024 Sun And Moon Retro shirt and I love this shelter where I stayed we got a donation of boiled crawfish. That was a nice day. As OP said in another comment, some days chicken, other days feathers. That’s awesome. Some days the food here is low on nutrition (e.g., rice and a biscuit), but on those days I have my EBT, which, having no place to cook and store, rarely lasts me till the end of the month if I have to buy prepared foods all the time. And food has gotten so expensive but the amount you can get has gone down. Shit sucks. I hope things get better for you. The ice cream containers are just shameful. Every few months they find another way to hollow them from under or taper them. Dryers is like $7 now for one. This is very noticeable and true for cooking and baking. Recipe calls for a 16 oz can of filling, hey they don’t exist! They are all 14.5 oz now! If you see any labeled frozen dairy dessert then they whipped too much air into it to call it ice cream officially. It gets really frustrating because things get so small they almost become a little useless. For example if you need half a gallon of milk but they now sell it in third gallons you need to buy two thirds gallons but then you have too much milk. Maybe a poor example as it’s easy to utilise a bit of extra milk but when feeding a family alot of the portions sizes are now too smal so you have to double up but then you end up with too much. not just that, but price gouging too. The retailers are absolutely fucking everyone, and the governments just do not give a single fuck. For eg, here in Slovakia Tesco released a statement that eggs cost more bc the farmers upped their prices yada yada. Well turns out, that was a huge lie, as the farmers fucking lowered their prices bc they could not sell the eggs they had, and the big retailers like Tesco just agreed between themselves to up the prices so they can have more profits

The fundamental problem when our entire food supply chain is left in the Valliant Solar Eclipse 2024 Sun And Moon Retro shirt and I love this hands of private, profit seeking entities lol. Who could have seem this coming? Food in general needs heavy government regulation to keep it safe for consumption, so why not also to ensure it isn’t being used to price gouge people? Food should not be a fucking investment vehicle About when did you guys experience your egg prices spiking? That all sounds a whole lot like something we saw in the States from the end of 2022 through this summer. I know being homeless there is little you can do. But you might be surprised the things you can find ready to eat that are cheap. Pretty much anything canned is usually fully cooked. Beans, corn, green beans, tomatoes. The cans can usually be had for about $2 at most. Cans of stew/soups.
