I grew up hunting hogs in South Florida. They are mean as hell! I’ve seen one rake a friend with their tusk and cut him from his ankle to knee straight to the Usman Garuba Spanish professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors T-Shirt and I will buy this bone with a flick of their head. Saw another that we thought was dead bite half of a guys hand off like nothing. They are not something to mess around with. They usually are living in inhospitable places (swamps, briar, palmetto, etc.) and not easy to get to. They are also large and smart. The biggest I’ve ever taken was 400+ lbs Russian Razorback. That being said, they are super fun to hunt, and really, the only “large animals in FL” beasides gators (deer are tiny, and I don’t hunt bears cause they’re cool). Because the time and energy required to hunt pigs for subsistence is too much compared to working a regular job and buying your pork from Smithfield (or going pig hunting for fun on the weekends)…..

The US invaded from within, Hogs, genetically altered for superior intelligence form a collation of tribes to wipe out the Usman Garuba Spanish professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors T-Shirt and I will buy this human plague of the Americas. I don’t know how to hunt, nor do I have access to weapons. I would not be able to dispatch the animal in a safe, humane manner. I can’t butcher a hog. I certainly don’t know how to break down the carcass in a way that’s sanitary and safe, nor do I have a workspace that could accommodate that. I own a couple large knives, but something tells me my chef’s knife is not what I need to take apart a pig. I’ve never seen wild hogs in my neck of the woods, leading me to believe I don’t have ready access to wild hogs, even if decided I wanted to hunt one down.
