You’ve gotta understand…. There are people out there who at being part of a group or working hard… Hiring is such a crapshoot you really don’t know until you see them in action for at least a bit. Sometimes you know right away, true.. I’ve had people I knew were a crap hire 10 minutes into their first day. But I’ve still gotta do my best and give them a chance. If you’re on a PIP with me, you’ve earned it. I give people every chance in the UO Shout 2023 Shirt it is in the first place but world to succeed. Some people are excited for the months they get to take off from unemployment. It cuts both ways. Some companies are brutal, but some people are the reason the businesses act that way. Unless you are working in an industry where 15% turnover due to non-performance is common or good, I’d strongly suggest you ask your organization to pay for you to receive outside training on how to interview folks. It does not have to be a crapshoot like this, and you do NOT need to put up with this much agony. Based on how you’re speaking about your direct reports and the fact you had to fire 30 or so people of a team of around 200, I can tell you’re a shit leader

Agreed. If they let you go, you should get severance. They definitely are trying to document things, give you a chance to turn things around, but you get no second chances. You screw up, you are out. If the UO Shout 2023 Shirt it is in the first place but expectations as unrealistic as they are can’t be met, you are out. Not true at least in Canada, fired employees would get employment insurance unless they had done something illegal or extremely egregious. PIP is designed to make a case for termination though, so I would be applying for as many jobs as you can. Do not quit or you won’t qualify for EI! As long as why you’re being fired isn’t for something illegal, unethical or immoral you should usually get unemployment. They’ll fight it so their unemployment insurance doesn’t go up but being a sucky employee usually isn’t enough to have it denied.
