Their argument is roe v wade was based on your right to privacy from government getting involved in your personal life, including in the Unity Day Crushing Bullying Monster Truck Lover Halloween T-Shirt and I will buy this bedroom and your medical procedures. This decision overturning it specifically indicates that based on their reading of the constitution there’s nothing in it that says you have that right to privacy, therefore you don’t. With that right to privacy gone, abortion can’t be protected under that reasoning (which incidentally is why RBG was always against roe v wade being what legalized abortion). The same right to privacy that we no longer have was also the basis for decriminalizing gay marriage and being gay in general, so people are assuming those will be next on the chopping block.

Tldr; I hope it’s obvious I think this is horrifying but the Unity Day Crushing Bullying Monster Truck Lover Halloween T-Shirt and I will buy this leaked draft says nothing to do with religion. They’re specifically and explicitly just revoking everyone’s right to privacy and bodily autonomy on the basis that it’s not specifically mentioned in the constitution Why hasn’t packing the courts come into the conversation again? I know it’s controversial, but this seems like a time where it may need to happen. They are just letting 5 people decide against something 70% of us agree with. Like a doctor who chooses quantity over quality (there’s many doctors who just want that check and to be done… they don’t actually care about patients. Find a doctor who cares, and find politicians who care) There’ll be someone with a vendetta going around and raping senators daughters. That’ll probably change their mind with the ‘missed opportunity’ approach. Merica’ is truly the wild west
