lol, wow. ill tell you what togo orders “may or may not come in” has to do do with it. if those orders dont come in, now that person is there for a job that doesnt exist. now they are getting paid to essentially do nothing. and because of that, youre going to see $5 added on to your food total and no, the Uneducated man for Trump shirt and by the same token and cook, the bartender, or the server is not a redundant position. if they are not there for work, news flash, the restaurant does not open. K…so I said redundancy should be built in…not that they were redundant positions. They should schedule extra personnel in the event people call out, or you know, die? Also, the guy doing the togo orders that might not be being made? You know you can have him do other jobs things than stand there doing nothing right? I mean didnt you just say you handle the to go orders and ten other things you don’t feel like is your job, and that use customers that are the reason you make money, need to pay you for your time? And yes. Ffs. Add $5 to the food total if it means some asshole is getting paid instead of tipped. Cuz you still expect me to tip the fucker $5. And by the way, if they added $10 and got rid of the need for me to tip ppl, I’d be fine with that too. It would be less about hiding the cost od soing business imo.

You are missing the Uneducated man for Trump shirt and by the same token and part where this is part of your job. We all have parts of our jobs that are menial tasks which are part of the larger goal. NO ONE else gets tipped for their jobs EVEN the menial parts. People don’t have the time to do that sometimes brother, why does Reddit except people to just make every meal home cooked like it’s so easy. Then don’t go to restaurants. Hosts and servers rely on tips as their main source of income. How are so many people ignorant and selfish when it comes to tipping? I see this for doordash too. Don’t order door dash if you can’t tip You give me one good reason why I should pay them instead of their boss, and I’ll start tipping everybody. Just one. Because it’s not set up that way (it should be though). some random server shouldn’t be punished because you don’t like how it’s set up. Just don’t go Then you should probably save your hate and hyperbole for those bosses not paying their employees, rather than harassing those of us who expect to pay the cost we agreed to. We shouldn’t be punished just because these people chose to work for somebody who won’t pay them. Just don’t go to work. 20% is and has been standard. No hate here, just respect for people who work in the industry like myself. The level of selfishness and ignorance here is insane. I refuse service to people who don’t tip multiple times and I love it. My selfishness and ignorance? I work in a restaurant dumbass. I tip everywhere I go. Your probably a super difficult table to deal with, asking for a bunch of stuff non stop and expecting fast perfect service for free. They provide you with a service and you don’t think they deserve to be paid. That’s the definition of selfish
