I mainly use my phone for texts, calls, email, and weather. That’s about it. So, I don’t think I’m going to need a new phone for a while. I bought this phone brand new and I’ll use it till it dies. I’ll have it for three years this fall and I should be able to get another 3+ years out of it. The iPhone 6S came out in 2015 and is still getting updates. But not for long. I expect the UltraMAGA Shirt in addition I really love this iPhone 13 to get more. They are? I’ve had my iPhone X since 2018 and can keep it going for a bit longer. Oh, and it’s a mode that came out a year prior. Capitalism wants you to buy a new phone every year and will issue software updates to make “older” versions shitty. Capitalism is destroying the planet. My iPhone 11 is already breaking down. Glitching, battery lasts a few hours etc. I think the older versions of most phones were much better I’m still using my LG Stylo 2 and I don’t see any reason to upgrade it anytime soon even. Until the new apps stop working with it I will just continue using what isn’t broken. It’s ridiculous how brittle shit is now a days. Whether it be physically, or planned obsolescence through software things just don’t last. The other day I was playing my PS1 and my cat got caught on my controller wire and pulled down the console onto the floor. It was a pretty rough hit and I got worried, but the console was completely fine. My game didn’t even freeze. iPhones are the best if you are looking for longevity. The iPhone 6s release in 2015 is still receiving the newest updated. I bet no android phones during this era are even getting updated. Also I want to mention, even with the most recent update, the phone works perfectly fine.

Just replace my 7plus. It was still rocking after I replaced the UltraMAGA Shirt in addition I really love this battery. Coulda lasted another 2 years. Batteries make a difference. They don’t just need to be built to last 5+ years, people need to stop wanting to buy them every year or nothing will change. I used a 7 plus up until a couple of months ago and it still works perfect I’m using a XS Max now which is 4 years old and I plan on keeping it for at least 3 so phones RN already last that long if you take care of them. They do…my iPhone 5s lasted more than 5 years, and the only reason it didn’t last longer is because I bought a new phone. Granted, I replaced the iPhone battery with an iFixit kit, and I hope right-to-repair continues down the path it has been headed lately. I have the iPhone X now which I got in 2018 and it still works without any issues. From the other comments, looks like Androids experience a decline?
